An exceptional pair of Japanese Sumida Gawa pottery vases, dating to the late 19th century Meiji period, and signed by the artist. These are large and impressive examples, each standing 28cm tall, and represent some of the finest quality Sumida Gawa pottery you are likely to encounter.

The vases are beautifully modelled with an elegant, well-balanced shape that allows them to sit comfortably in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
